General Information

Who Can Attend? Girls in grades 9-12 (maximum attendance - 100 girls)

Event Purpose: To introduce girls in grades 9-12 to the career opportunities available in aviation.

Mission Statement: The Women Soar You Soar program strives to engage, inspire, and educate young women to pursue their dreams in aviation and beyond.

Registration Cost: $75 per girl (financial aid available). Registration includes lodging in the dormitories at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, meals, fun and educational seminars, and the opportunity to talk and learn from some of the best and brightest women in aviation related careers.

Lodging Information: EAA will provide all bus transportation from EAA to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and back. Click here to visit the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Challenge Course:
What to Wear & Not Wear

  • Close-toed shoes, preferably with good tread (mandatory)
  • Appropriate clothing for the weather
  • Participants will need to remove jewelry, i.e., earrings, necklaces, watches, etc. and/or tie back hair

Frequently Asked Questions

When and where do I drop off my daughter?
Registration is from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, July 26 on the UW-Oshkosh campus.

When and where do I pick up my daughter?
Checkout is 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 29 in EAA's Founders Wing.

Can someone pick up/drop off my daughter at the airport?
Yes, if they are flying into Appleton (ATW) and we are given enough advance notice.

What if I can't get my daughter a flight home until the next day?
We have very limited availability to accommodate this; if a girl needs to spend Sunday night in Oshkosh, please contact Brianna Montano at 800-633-1442 or 920-424-1129 as soon as possible.

Can the parents stay in the dorms?
No, we do not have any extra rooms reserved for parents.
