The AeroShell Aerobatic Team heads the list of night air show performers at AirVenture. |
EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010 will include something that hasn't been "seen" for quite some time; a night air show. On Saturday evening, July 31, the skies above Wittman Regional Airport will light up with several air show performers, including the AeroShell Aerobatic Team (T-6s); Bob Carlton (Jet sailplane); Bob Davis (Sukhoi); Gene Soucy (Showcat); and Matt Younkin (Twin Beech).
"The night air show is something we're really excited about," said Tom Poberezny, EAA chairman/president. "These performances will highlight what we promise will be a truly unmatched final two days of AirVenture 2010."
After the night flights, a special fireworks display is scheduled. Starting time for the air show is about 8:45 p.m., with the firworks display at about 9:30.
In addition, EAA has added two other pilots to the list of performers during the daily air shows. They are Debby Rihn-Harvey, flying the CAP 232, and Kirby Chambliss in the Edge. For a list of all confirmed 2010 performers, click here.
